For all Species Fishing, Spread The Tackle

The top fishermen know that when the action stops or never starts its time to spread the tackle and work all the different types of fish. If this sounds strange, you may not have considered that each species of fish likes different lures, presentations and temperatures.
When I go out on any trip, I start with what I believe is the hot set up based on the last trip. This works most of the time but when it doesn’t, I spread my tackle out to cover all the types of fish. Read more
Emerson Family Invades Parmachenee Lake – Maine

Our annual excursion to Parmachenee got underway Thursday evening July 24th with the 1100 mile drive from Indiana to Maine. 24 hours later, we arrived at my Dad’s fishing lodge very weary but also excited at the prospect of two weeks of uninterrupted camp life.
After a long night’s sleep, my little fishing buddy, Lacey, and I hit the lake at 5:15 a.m. and only moments later I landed a beautiful trout, “Tommy Trout” which measured 17.5″ and weighed 2.25#. Read more

After a little internet searching, reading, and checking up on this stuff I found it’s a pretty well established product in Canada and hails from Quebec where they have this funny habit of speaking a lot of French. Thus the name, Jig-A-Loo, and the company’s claim it derives from a saying they have up north, “I’ve got it!”
