The Fine and Precise Art of Fly Fishing
December 28, 2007
By Tom Remington
If you’re not a purist when it comes to fly fishing, those who are might just drive you a bit crazy. I would guess there are far fewer “nuts” when it comes to fly fishing than those simply looking for a good time and a chance to catch a fish or two with their very sensitive fly fishing equipment. Fly fishing is just plain fun.
I’ve fished and fly fished a body of water or two and I am far from a purist and can’t see anything that would closely resemble that of an expert in myself. I just like a good time. Let me give you some examples of what I mean. Read more

In this article I would like to explain where to start if you have not been out for awhile. I find Internet fish reports invaluable for up to date information. Look for the most recent reports. If you do not have that option, ask at the local sporting goods stores or the other fisherman at the launch ramps. Marine radio is also helpful if you have one. Read more

After a little internet searching, reading, and checking up on this stuff I found its a pretty well established product in Canada and hails from Quebec where they have this funny habit of speaking a lot of French. Thus the name, Jig-A-Loo, and the companys claim it derives from a saying they have up north, Ive got it!
