Your Chance to Compete Internationally in Fly Fishing
Utah will host a National Fly Fishing Team try-out coming up April 1st and 2nd, 2006. The trials will be held on Provo and Weber Rivers and Deer Creek and Jordanelle reservoirs. The top ten finishers will go on to compete in the National Championships being held in Boulder, Colorado June 1 – 4, 2006.
At the national championships, Fly Fishing Team USA will select at least 5 qualifiers to join others making a total of 15 members that will comprise the national fly fishing team. Of those 15 selected, about 6 will be selected to compete in a world wide tour of competions – the first being the 25th World Fly Fishing Championships to be held in Protugal.
